Endeavor Center

For Youth and Community Development

Because Everyone Deserves the Chance to Dream Bigger than Life

Since 2013, The Endeavor Center for Youth and Community Development has been mentoring area youth to discover their identity, develop their gifts and abilities, and deploy their talents and passions. Our goal is to help young people understand and accept God's unique purpose for their lives today—not someday. As a result, they become healthy citizens who transform their world.

Our hope is to show that even one of the most economically challenged communities in Michigan could create a dynamic facility and program for children and youth second to none through the financial and volunteer support of its own residents. What has happened in the years since the Endeavor Center opened can only be attributed to the love of an incredibly generous community.

Now Open!

Old School Coffee Shop

In May, we created a new space in the Endeavor Center where people can come and enjoy exceptional coffee, espresso drinks, baked goods, and community. Old School Coffee is open Monday-Friday from 7 am-11am and on Saturdays from 8 am -11 am. Come enjoy the environment. All proceeds support the mission of the Endeavor Center and our work with young people.

Coming Soon: Old School Coffee Mug Club

For a donation of $25 a month to the Endeavor Center, you'll receive membership in the Old School Coffee Mug Club, which will give you 50% off all drip coffee and $1 off all espresso drinks every time you come in and order using your Mug Club Card. Watch for details.

Featured Programs

Every summer, we provide children and youth under the age of 18-years-old an opportunity to receive a free, healthy, nutritious breakfast and lunch. This service is a tremendous help for homes where a little extra help goes a long way for families.

In 2017, we have expanded our summer program to include a highly structured, comprehensive day camp for kids entering 1st through 8th grades. Young people will learn the value of teamwork and discover new skills they can use throughout their entire lifetime.

This upcoming fall's plans include providing elementary and middle school aged kids with an opportunity to participate in an after school tutoring program. Young people will receive support from trained mentors who will help set them up for greater academic success.

Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
